GMI Board and executivesDan FitzgeraldVice President, Americas Most recently, he served as Acting President for Election Services Corporation (ESC), a business services outsourcing firm, where he was responsible for the company's turnaround strategy and ultimate sale. Prior to ESC, Fitzgerald spent five years bringing to market two start-up ventures in the technology-enabled marketing services field: serving as Senior Vice President at Affinnova, Inc., a Boston, MA-based advanced technology and business solutions firm, and before that as Senior Vice President for Knowledge Networks, Inc., a marketing intelligence and research firm based in Menlo Park, CA. At both firms, he joined near their official launch, and guided the sales and operational efforts to realize considerable market growth. Dan began his career in the Information Technology research and consulting field. Most notably, serving as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing at META Group where he was instrumental in leading and architecting META's successful sales and growth initiatives achieving a successful IPO in 1995 and ultimately $125 million in gross revenues. Fitzgerald also held the position of Executive Vice President, Corporate and Strategic Development, at Guideline (formerly FIND/SVP, Inc., and now owned by infoUSA). Throughout his career, Dan has spoken at industry events on multiple occasions, covering such topics as Information Technology trends, product development and innovation, and marketing and consumer insights. Dan holds a B.B.A in Marketing from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. |
