Technology veteran hailing from Muze and Sabey DataCenter to strengthen GMI executive team

Seattle, WA - July 24th, 2007 - GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), a provider of global market intelligence solutions, today announced it has hired Joseph Baldini as vice president of IT, effective immediately. Baldini brings 15 years of senior-level IT experience to GMI, having implemented innovative data center consolidation strategies at several companies that resulted in a 50-percent reduction in infrastructure and $750,000 in annual savings. His consolidation strategy was even featured in Storage Networking Online as a success story for driving down costs while improving performance and reliability.

As vice president of engineering at Muze, a $50-million dollar digital media company, Baldini developed and implemented digital media services that garnered more than 100-million internet hits and 32 tetrabites of data transfer monthly. He oversaw the company's $10-million operating and capital budget, and supervised a team of 40 employees.

"The VP of IT position is a key role at GMI as we offer numerous ASP-based services, handle a trendous amount of secure data, and service real time demands from our customers. Achieving optimum up-time is critical for our business," explains Mike Brochu, GMI's CEO. "I have had the privilege of previously working with Joe and I am extremely pleased he decided to join our team."

"GMI is already a leader in global market research automation, with solid consumer and specialty panels, multiple software platforms addressing a variety of online research needs, and professional services," says Baldini. "What impresses me most about GMI is the company's clear vision for the future. I look forward to spearheading the IT team to further strengthen the company's position as a leader in technology solutions for global market research."

Prior to Muze, Baldini was general manager of Sabey DataCenter, responsible for six data centers spanning 200,000-square-feet. He controlled all aspects of the operation, including managing vendor relationships, performing risk assessments and overseeing a $5-million budget.

During his career, Baldini also served as professional services director at Exodus Communications, Inc. for three years. In 1996/1997, he was President of Network Connection, Inc. He also held various engineering positions at such companies as SpaceLabs Medical, Maxtor Corporation and Memorex Corporation. Baldini holds an AS degree in electronics technology from Bay Valley Tech in Santa Clara, Calif.
