GMI Vancouver

GMI's Vancouver offices serve as the development headquarters for the Company's technology development operations. The office consists of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts and Technical Writers.

Situated on the Pacific coast, with a moderate climate, beautiful scenery, a vast array of outdoor activity possibilities as well as some of the best restaurants in the world, Vancouver is wonderful place to work and to raise a family.

The GMI lifestyle 

GMI Vancouver is located near the Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver, and offers a spectacular view of downtown, Grouse Mountain and The Lions, and with access to the Quay's seawall. A nearby waterfront park is perfect for enjoying lunch on a sunny day. For those who enjoy exercising, there are nice walks available, as well as the gym facilities in our building which include showers and lockers. GMI Vancouver is situated away from the hectic downtown scene and is easily accessible by car and by public transportation. Commuters who take public transportation are subsidized and parking is available for those who drive.

The work environment at GMI Vancouver is flexible, relaxed, and casual. Being smaller than the GMI Seattle headquarters, staff are able to maintain a daily face-to-face relationship that is lost in larger companies. There is mutual respect at GMI which ensures a comfortable and effective relationship between mangers and their teams. All staff are provided with a laptop and attire is business casual (leaning towards the casual side).

GMI Vancouver provides monthly lunches for all staff and the kitchen is always stocked with snacks and drinks to keep employees energized throughout the day. As well, the kitchen is fully equipped to suit your everyday needs and includes a Bistro Machine for those latte lovers, as well as kettle, water cooler, microwave, toaster oven, fridge and a relaxing environment to eat.

GMI Vancouver likes to reward their employees for their dedication and hard work by sponsoring events, such as BBQs, Sun Run, bowling events, etc. The lifestyle at GMI is work hard – play hard!

GMI compensation

GMI offers its employees an excellent compensation package, including competitive salaries, bonuses, full benefits, transportation reimbursement (transit or parking), and each employee receives a laptop. Training is provided on in-house products, and GMI will pay for external training courses, as required.
