recruited African-American online panel.

Although African-Americans make up 13% of the U.S. population and wield
$761 in buying power*, they are still
a relatively untapped market for researchers. According to
Media Audit's Media Day Analysis (January 2006-April 2007), more
than 21 million African-Americans are online, spending an average
of five hours online per day, two hours more than the general population.
Gain access to this diverse segment with the GMI African-American Panel.
The panel, recruited, profiled and managed separately from our
main consumer
panel, recently reached the 100,000 panelist mark, and is still growing
rapidly. Panelists are profiled on a variety of attributes to allow
for more targeted research, and the quality of the panel is high.
Panelists are recruited from sites and sources that cater specifically
to African-Americans, and we closely monitor the panel for straight-line
clickers, speedsters and other low-quality responses.
Panelists are double-opted in to the panel, and are profiled on a wide
range of attributes, including:
- Age
- Gender
- Full mailing address
- Date of birth
- Language
- Household income
- Employment status
- Education level
- Marital status
- Neighborhood
- Industry
- Workplace/company
- Number of children in household
- Number of children attending college in household
